Govt hopes for change in opposition’s stance over presidential address


ISLAMABAD: A presidential spokesman Saturday said that it was the democratic right of the opposition to protest during the President’s address to the Parliament but this should remain within the democratic norms.

Talking to DawnNews, Farhatullah Babar said he was hopeful that the opposition would change its stance to protest during the address.

He said that the speech for President Asif Ali Zardari was being prepared and that the president would unveil a road map for the future during his speech.
