A 20-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a teenager during a disturbance in a Midlothian street.
The 17-year-old, who has not been named, was stabbed on Newbyres Crescent, Gorebridge at about 0220 GMT on Saturday.
Lothian and Borders Police said the teenager was taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary following the attack, but he later died.
The accused man will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
